To Waltz or Not To Waltz?

Nowadays the traditional Bridal Waltz has been replaced by numerous other dances. Current ballads and love songs lend themselves to foxtrots and rumbas rather than the time-honoured waltz.

When it comes to choreographing a dance routine or teaching you some basic steps to your special song, Simply Dancin has years of experience in this area.

What To Bring

When organising your private lessons you will need to provide your music on CD or i-Pod. You will need to try out your wedding shoes during one of your lessons but are not essential during your first lesson.

Tailoring Your Dance

If you do not have a special song or are having trouble making your choice, Simply Dancin can assist you: bring your selection of songs when you come for your first lesson and we will help your select the prefect song for you. We will tailor your dance suit you, your music, your dress.

How Many Lessons Do I Need?

Allow yourself more time than you think you will need – we recommend at least 4 lessons (1 per week), but make sure to leave time for extra lessons if necessary. Lessons right up to your wedding day are not essential. Once you feel confident with your dance you need not continue with further lessons. You may wish to book a refresher lesson in the week prior to your big day.

Fees & Package Deals

$40 per half hour private lesson
$70 per one hour private lessons.
24 hours notice required for cancellation of a $20 cancellation fee applies.

Package 1
4 x 1/2 hour private lessons for $140, a saving of $20.

Package 2
4 x 1 hour private lessons for $260, a saving of $20.

Package 3
Purchase either Package 1 or 2 and receive a term of Beginner classes for half price. You will pay only $140 - that's two for the price of one! As these classes cover a number of different dances and do not focus on your routine they will help you feel more at ease and assist you in becoming a more comfortable and natural looking dancer.
